Welcome to Lander Design. Since 1999, owner Scott Lander has utilized his vast knowledge of Los Angeles Real Estate, coupled with impeccable attention to architectural detail, to carve out a rare specialty:  renovating homes with historic standing by such architects as Richard Neutra, Buff, Straub and Hensman, and Rudolf Schindler to name a few.

Scott has worked on, and restored, many homes in Southern California including the areas of Hancock Park, Windsor Square, Larchmont Village, Malibu, Pasadena, Glendale, Santa Monica and the Hollywood Hills. He is a design and restoration specialist whose expertise spans all types of historic and architectural homes, including Spanish, Craftsman, English Tudor and Mid Century Modern.

Whether a client intends to continue living in their home, or wants to maximize value before selling, Scott has a vast collection of resources needed to renovate or restore any home.

Along with design and restoration projects, Scott Lander also sells real estate with the architectural real estate firm Crosby Doe Associates, noted for properties of distinction.

We are proud to announce that Scott Lander has won the 2012 Pasadena Preservation Award for his restoration of Buff, Straub & Hensman’s Thomson Residence.
